You put your blood, sweat and tears into creating your digital products, load the content into Kajabi, and proudly launch it to the world…
And, there’s crickets…
Your mind jumps to possible reasons…
“My Facebook ads didn’t work!!”
“Why doesn’t anybody want this?!”
“It’s Kajabi’s fault! It’s a terrible platform!!!”
If you just take a step back, and assess the problem objectively, the answer is usually as clear as rain.
You didn’t have the right STRATEGY in place.
What does that mean exactly and how can you avoid the dreaded chirp, chirp, chirp of crickets when you launch?
Let's find out:
I am going through the Tribe Experience (read: course) as an alumni for the fourth time
(WHY I am doing the course over again is content for another Facebook Live in the future)
This time is the first time that the Searchie Hub has been available, so the usual tech questions (which are NOT covered in any detail during the course) from people in the Facebook Group are amplified by the confusion of where and how a Searchie Hub would be used and why anyone would still use Kajabi or any other “all in one” platform.
That’s the topic of this week’s Simple Steps to Online Success
As a founding member of BOTH platforms, I am going to share things such as:
•The difference between Searchie and a Searchie Hub (not the same thing and I see that’s part of the confusion)
•How I use Searchie in my Kajabi site and how I would use a Searchie Hub in addition to my Kajabi site and products
•Does it make sense to abandon Kajabi in favor of Searchie (I bet you can...
Change is hard. We all know that.
Even if the change may ultimately help you to work faster and be productive, getting past the initial shock (“where the hell did all my content go?!?!”) is tough.
Kajabi recently updated the Products screen across all accounts (I’ve had it for a while) and there has been a lot of confusion.
One of my members in the Kajabi Flight Crew Club frantically posted in our group when she went into her newest course to tweak a few things before her new students started on Monday
Suddenly what had been easy and familiar was suddenly totally confusing.
The only constant is change, right?
So, this week, I’ll break it down for you and hopefully help you feel more comfortable with this update and show you some tricks to maximize your productivity when uploading your content
See you then!
Last week Kajabi announced updates that were part of the most recent development cycle, code named “London”
(In case you’re new, Kajabi has 6 to 8 week development cycles where they crank out product updates and new features)
This Thursday, I’ll be doing another recap of the most recent updates including:
-The hidden toggle button that will unlock new features for you to play with
-Two new website themes for more “corporate” and “coaching” businesses
-Great news coming for Kajabi owners using the new Website Builder
-If you have audio content as part of your courses or memberships, you’ll be very excited!
I did this training in my paid membership and thought I would share this with you as well. We all like getting targeted content based on what we're interested in, so how can you segment your subscribers to identify what content they consider most helpful and/or what their primary focus is? Well, just watch as I show you two ways to do it!
